In my world, another lucky victim of the rail removal brigade was IRR # 55. It was on the way to the LVT to be reborn into something it was never meant to be. So here it stays a parlor car, just as it was built in 1931. Number 55 is taking a roundabout route today to avoid the track crew starting on a revitalization project on the old trestle, a holdover from the days of the Lykens Valley Railway.
